10 AM – 12:30 PM
at Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center

Kitten season is almost here and we cordially invite you to our 2nd Annual Clovis Animal Services Kitten Shower! This fun gathering will be filled with snacks, educational workshops, and an opportunity for you to contribute to a great cause! We also will be collecting supplies that help us and our foster volunteers raise bottle-fed and young kittens, especially if the mother cat isn’t present. Plus you have the opportunity to talk with some of our existing fosters and meet some of their adorable kittens!

Kitten Shower Agenda

Join us for this fun event jam-packed with informational sessions, hands-on demonstrations, fun kids activities, snacks, and more! Descriptions of our workshops and activities are outlined below.

    • 10:00 am – Doors Open
    • 10:15 am – Fostering 101 Workshop
    • 11:00 am – Foster Medicine Workshop
    • 11:45 am – Bottle Feeding & Bathroom Stimulation Workshop (with live kittens!)
    • 12:30 pm – Event Ends

Throughout the duration of the event, be sure to check out our informational booths, meet a current foster volunteer, make a cat wand, play some kitten-related games, and enjoy some tasty treats! You can also bring a gift off of our Shower Registry to help support the many kittens in our care and in foster homes!

Purchase A Gift From Our Registry

There are so many supplies that are used when raising kittens – everything from bottles and formula to warm bedding and enrichment toys. We’ve put together a list of most used and needed items that we use in our shelter and give to our foster volunteers to get them started! You can make a huge difference in a kitten’s life by your generous donations!

Apply to Become a Foster!

Our dedicated animal foster care volunteers are essential to the health and wellbeing of many of the animals that come into our care. We need foster homes for all ages of cats and dogs, but the greatest need is those willing to care for the most vulnerable – our puppies and kittens.

We provide support and resources to our foster volunteers to ensure the best quality of care for the animals, and for the benefit of the foster family.

All foster care volunteers must go through an application and interview process. Foster volunteers must be 18 years old or older, but your younger family members can help you care for them too!
